Students will explore performance skills through the use of imaginative play and drama games.  They will develop their communication skills and understanding of team work whilst developing their confidence.


Students will also spend part of the class focusing on and working towards their LAMDA examination which will be assessed at the correct level for the individual student. Examinations usually take place in June. (*Please note that the LAMDA examination is not compulsory and there is a small exam fee).


Sessions will be structured around acting, song and  dance which will include scripted work, improvisation, Shakespeare and mask work, musical theatre and pop songs, jazz, ballet and contemporary dance.  It will focus on the basic disciplines of theatre performance whilst keeping the elements of fun and creativity.  These sessions are based on the personal development of each individual. 


Students will also rehearse for a full drama school showcase which will take place at a local professional venue in December.
